Start the morning on the water with a guided sea kayaking experience along the pristine shores of Walker Bay. This peaceful paddle gives us a front-row seat to Hermanus’ dramatic coastal scenery, with rugged cliffs, kelp forests, and the chance to spot seals, birdlife, and even dolphins. It’s a refreshing, salt-air adventure that connects you with the rhythms of the ocean and the raw beauty of the Cape’s marine ecosystems.
Later, we’ll explore Hermanus from land on the famed Cliff Path—a nature-rich trail carved into the coastline. Winding for nearly 12 kilometres, this route offers sweeping sea views, vibrant flora, and insights into the town’s fishing heritage. It’s also one of the best places on earth for land-based whale watching during the season (June to November).
